Regular internships, international school-exchanges (Erasmus + Cumulus), partnerships in France and abroad with other institutions of higher education, as well as professional design projects with well-known brands, complete our educational program. Penninghen offers a Master's Degree in both Art Direction (visual communication and digital design) and in Interior Architecture & Design. Both degrees are State-recognized and offer a certified level I qualification.

An international school

Penninghen is also part of the international Cumulus and Erasmus student exchange programs that regroup over 257 art schools and design universities in 57 different countries. This is an important opportunity for students to work in an international working environment. Students are chosen to take part in this exchange depending on the level of their grades throughout the academic year.

In 1990, ESAG Penninghen then developed into the international market by participating in the creation of AIAS (International Association of independent art and private design schools) on the premises of the renowned German art school Bauhaus, located in Dessau Germany.

This international approach also continued to have an important influence on the educational program when in 1991 ESAG Penninghen became an integral part of the Erasmus and Cumulus design school exchange system which regroups over 1000 art schools around the world giving students a unique opportunity to experience a dynamic international design environment.

Organised by our teaching staff (interior architecture & Art Direction programs) throughout the academic year, students have the opportunity to take part in international events, study trips abroad, international architecture visits or international exhibitions & museums.
