HOW TO JOIN THE FIRST YEAR OF PENNINGHEN?

The training course at Penninghen is offered in 5 years. Accessible after high school, the first year of the course is a foundation year in applied arts. Common to all students, it allows the acquisition of knowledge and techniques essential to creative studies.

No artistic or creative pre-requisites are expected to enter the school in the first year. The filing of a completed and signed registration file is considered admission, provided that the enrollment is not complete.

Each year, 300 places are offered for the foundation year.

The registration procedure at Penninghen is done outside of the Parcoursup platform and is not subject to any file study or maintenance. It is possible to register in Penninghen from the month of October before the desired start of the school year.

The registration form can be downloaded from the school’s website or available from the secretariat. A photo ID, a certificate of final level education, a photocopy of the identity card as well as registration and tuition fees are necessary for the file to be complete and admissible. This file is a contract and commitment. A withdrawal is possible within 8 days after the date of receipt of the file. After this period, schooling is due in full.

Throughout the first year, students are evaluated on the basis of continuous monitoring, which generates a ranking at the end of the 30 weeks of training. This ranking determines the transition to the next year, where 180 places are offered, including 60 for the Art Direction curriculum.
