Penninghen, the School of Interior Architecture, Communication and Art Direction, is opening its workshops on Saturday December 7th from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm

SATURDAY DECEMBER 7th 2024 OPEN DAY PROGRAM

  • Explore the work of students in the Penninghen’s Foundation Year in Applied Arts
  • Guided tour of the Penninghen studios by a student from the school
  • Discussions with the teaching staff at Penninghen

 

Workshops and conferences  

  • 10:00 am - 12:00 pm : introductory art workshop (a drawing class and a volume class) supervised by a Penninghen teacher
  • 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm : ‘Why do a preparatory course in applied arts?’ lecture by Gilles Poplin, Director of Penninghen, accompanied by three students in current training
  • 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm : introductory art workshop (a drawing class and a volume class) supervised by a Penninghen teacher
  • 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm : ‘What careers are possible after Penninghen?’ conference led by Gilles Poplin, Director of Penninghen, with three graduates in attendance to talk about their experiences.

OPEN DAY AT PENNINGHEN : SATURDAY DECEMBER 7th 2024

The open day on Saturday December 7th from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm is made for those who want to discover the school and its learning from the inside

  • The exhibition features a rich selection of work by first-year students, offering a range of productions from the disciplines taught in the foundation year.
  • Guided tours by senior students and lecturers from the three programs throughout the day present the courses and answer all questions you may have about the first year, and about the Interior Architecture, Communication and Art Direction courses.
  • The two information meetings, attended by Penninghen's director surrounded by students and professionals who have recently graduated from the school, provide an opportunity to ask any questions.
  • The two introductory workshops in creative arts (drawing and volume) run by teachers from Penninghen offer an opportunity to discover Penninghen through practical experience. Registration required.

For more than 55 years, Penninghen has been writing its history by supporting students in their creative process to turn its graduates into accomplished professionals in Interior Architecture, Communication and Art Direction.
