Art Direction in Graphic Design and Digital Design at Penninghen
Through a variety of different themes (cultural, social, environment …) our art direction / graphic design course teaches our students to develop creative problem-solving skills, idea development and visualization skills in order to communicate concepts, design solutions, and arguments clearly and concisely through visual and written means.
Design of compositions is then expanded into the development of a series of themed works (cultural, social, environment, etc …)
Various methods are used to create a visual representation of ideas and messages and it is the designer’s responsibility to choose the appropriate design medium in keeping with the design brief.
Responsible for choosing the appropriate visual medium in keeping with the design brief and must be able to demonstrate the ability to use design-thinking strategies in an iterative design process.
In graphic design “the essence is to give order to information, form to ideas, expression and feeling”.
